First lady Michelle Obama took the stage Tuesday as Democrats opened their national convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. The first lady rallied fellow Democrats with a personal and, at times, emotional speech, talking about her husband's character and his accomplishments over the past three and a half years in the White House.
