Cambodia Plans to Tighten Security around Foreign Embassies - 2005-01-14


Cambodian government says it's planning to tighten security around foreign embassies in Phnom Penh to prevent any possible terrorist attacks.

Cambodian spokesman Om Yintieng says the government plan to move the auto repair shops far away from the foreign embassies.

The terrorists who were found guilty in Cambodia recently reportedly had plan to use the auto repair shops to make car bombs and then drive them into the foreign embassies.
