A FUNCINPEC activist was murdered in Kompong Chhnang late Sunday night near his home.
The 44 year-old Khmer-Islam man was shot by unknown men as he was riding his motocycle home. He died several hours later in a local hospital.
Provincial police and human rights groups say they don't know the motive yet and that they are investigating the case.
The victim's wife said her husband had previous disputes with other people on fishing issues.
