A Sam Rainsy official said he was shot at while riding in his car Tuesday afternoon in Phnom Penh.
The Sam Rainsy party said the shooting is another attempt to intimidate the opposition party. Phnom Penh police said it's investigating.
The victim told VOA he was not hurt when two gunmen on motocyle shot and broke his car window.
In anther development 101 houses were damaged in Kampot province when a storm hit the area Monday night. One person was reportedly injured.
