Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and FUNCINPEC President Norodom Ranariddh wrote a joint letter Wednesday to King Sihanouk turning down his majesty's invitation to go to Pyongyang, North Korea to talk about the political deadlock.
Speaking at the airport on his return from Lao, Prime Minister Hun Sen said CPP and FUNCINPEC need more time to talk and hope to bring positive results to the King in Pyongyang in person.
The Sam Rainsy party refused to comment on the joint letter CPP and FUNCINPEC wrote by saying whatever action CPP and FUNCINPEC are taking is their own internal affairs.
