A group of US military doctors plans to provide free healthcare service to Cambodians in Kep, Kampot.
In a statement issued today, the US embassy in Phnom Penh said a group of 20 US doctors will provide free healthcare from May 17-29 in an annex hospital while they are working in another hospital in the area.
The statement said the free service is made possible by the US embassy in Phnom Penh, the US arms forces command the US air force command in the Asia and Pacifics region.
In another development a group of 17 human rights NGO in Cambodia issue a statement condeming the killing of a union leader last week. The group calls on the authorities to investigate and to find justice.
