The Cambodian People's Party unilaterally suspended talks with FUNCINPEC to form a new government.
CPP spokesman Khieu Kahnarith said CPP temporarily suspended the talks because pro-FUNCINPEC radio station Ta Prohm FM 90 continues to attack CPP.
FUNCINPEC spokesman Neou Kasie said what FM 90 broadcast is not FUNCINPEC's official position.
Mr. Neou expressed disappointment over the incident, and said this is not the first time the CPP decided to withdraw unilaterally from a planned meeting.
He also reaffirmed the strong bond between FUNCINPEC and the Sam Rainsy party in the Alliance of Democrats.
