Police arrested a FUNCINPEC activist in Pailin Friday on charge he organized an illegal armed force.
Police said Sou Kim, 50, who is a reserve candidate of the Parliament for the FUNCINPEC Party was arrested on a Phnom Penh court order charging that Mr. Kim has connection with the banned Cambodian Freedom Fighters (CFF).
The deputy Secretary-General of the FUNCINPEC Party condemned the arrest, by saying Mr. Kim does not have anything to do with the CFF.
