In an interview with VOA stringer, Khemara, in Phnom Penh Thursday, the Cambodian People's Party spokesman, Mr. Khieu Kahnariddh, confirmed that Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has agreed to withdraw his lawsuit against the FUNCINPEC Party president, Prince Norodom Ranariddh, if the Prince would withdraw his lawsuit against Mr. Hun Sen.
To the lawsuit controversy, Prince Ranariddh told VOA that with or without the legal batlle, the unofficial negotiations have been on-going since the meeting in the Royal Palace with King Norodom Sihanouk on November 5, 2003, and that the ball is now in Mr. Hun Sen's court.
