Another senior member of the Sam Rainsy Party told reporters that the killer who was allegedly hired by Mrs Bun Rany, the wife of Prime Minister Hun Sen, to kill one of Cambodia's most famous star, Piseth Pelika, on July 6, 1999 in O Russei market, has returned from Vietnam.
Mr. Son Chhay said one his close friends told him he may be the next target and ashed him to be watchful. He said he reported the warning to the United Nations High Commissioner who told him to get some body guards.
The Cambodia People's Party denied Mr. Son Chhay's claim and said the opposition party made it up to discredit the CPP.
