A high-ranking official in the Cambodian Senate said the legislative body runs out of money to spend.
The official said the Senate could not pay the electric and phone bills. It also has no money to pay the salary to its members for several months.
The opposition party leader Mr. Sam Rainsy said the care-taker government is in serious financial trouble because the corrupted officials has cleaned up whatever money was left at the end of the second term.
