In an interview with VOA Thursday former Khmer Rouge leader Khiev Samphan's wife So Socheat says that she does not follow the Khmer Rouge tribunal procedure, saying it is other people's business, and that of the jurists.
If the jurists try her husband, she cannot do anything about it.
She says that her husband has not mistreated anybody, and that he never had any conflict with no one.
She says that if the tribunal were to call him to stand trial, it would be hard on the family because her life is already a hardship, and that her husband should decide alone.
She says that she talks as an individual and that her husband has never killed anybody.
