Hun Sen Asks to Repeal UNTAC Defamation Law

Prime Minister Hun Sen Tuesday proposes to the Minister of Justice to amend article 63 of the United Nations Transitional Authority for Cambodia (UNTAC) penal code and submit it to the National Assembly for approval.

This move will lead to the repeal of the official conviction by imprisonment for defamation.
