FUNCINPEC party president Norodom Ranariddh said Tuesday that he suggested to the Cambodian People's Party to form an Adhoc commission between the two parties to study strategies to strengthen long term partnership for peace, and political stability.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of FUNCINPEC party congress at the Olympic stadium, Prince Ranariddh said he had asked Prince Norodom Sirivudh, FUNCINPEC part general secretary to send a letter to the CPP general secretary Say Chhum about this request.
CPP spokesman Khieu Kanariddh said there is already a CPP-FUNCINPEC permanent commission for working relations between the two ruling parties headed by Say Chhum and Prince Norodom Sirivudh.
