Prime Minister Hun Sen warns Tuesday those who appeal for the use of armed forces to incite rebellion against the government will be arrested. He said this is a coup d'etat. He said that he is not like former King Sihanouk who had allowed a coup d'etat against him to take place.
PM Hun Sen said it will not happen under his watch. He said if someone plans an armed rebellion against him, he will have the person(s) arrested at homes then take them to court later.
Opposition lawmaker Keo Remy said that there are no armed forces against the government because they have been immobilized.
Government spokesman Khieu Kanharith dismisses Keo Remy's words saying that the government has to be prepared.
