Top U.S. and Chinese diplomatic officials met in Washington for the first of several high-level security talks meant to promote dialogue on a variety of issues, ranging from fighting global terrorism to leveraging Beijing's ties with North Korea. VOA's Elizabeth Cherneff reports.
