African Filmmaker in Texas Explores Cultural Issues

Many Africans have left their homelands to find opportunities in other countries, but they take with them cultural traditions that can create problems. One example is tardiness, an issue that is tackled by Texas-based Nigerian filmmaker Kelechi Eke. He makes “Nollywood” style films that focus on the lives of African immigrants as well as important issues back in Africa. VOA’s Greg Flakus has this report from Houston.
