The three-day coronation ceremony has begun in Cambodia in the royal palace.
According to the palace officials, the new King Norodom Sihamoni received the blessing of 52 monks in a Buddhist ceremony Thursday.
Today's ceremony was attended by the royal family only. Tomorrow is the main public event where King Sihamoni will be crowned.
