Cambodian Opposition Party leader Sam Rainsy and his family left for Beijing China Wednesday afternoon.
Mr. Rainsy told VOA he wrote a letter informing the king that he will arrive in Beijing on Thursday and that he will be ready to meet with the king when the king's schedule allows.
Mr. Rainsy said he would listen to the King's comments on the current political situation in Cambodia.
The opposition party leader also said he plans to visit tourist attractions in Beijing with his family
