Tuberculosis Kills 10,000 Cambodians per Year - 2004-01-15

Through our Hello VOA program, Dr. Taing Tek Hong said about 7 million Cambodians have contracted tuberculosis bacteria, but most of the cases are dormant.

He told VOA listeners that tuberculosis can be completely cured by using the right dose and duration of a combination of INH, Rifampin, ethambutol, pyrazynamide and vitamin B6.
