Louisiana Using BP Settlement Money to Restore Coast

Five years ago, workers stopped a well that had been leaking oil into the Gulf of Mexico for 87 days. This month, the company judged responsible for the disaster, BP, agreed to pay $18.7 billion to states along the Gulf coast. The money will help pay for economic and environmental restoration projects.
