Not only Americans have cause for concern as US President Barack Obama and Congress wrestle with the prospect of a “fiscal cliff.” Duch Darin, a US-based economist, tells VOA Khmer’s Ly Moryvann that countries around the world could be affected if the two sides can’t agree on a budget, forcing major tax increases and spending cuts that could cause the US economy to shrink.
