The U.S. strongly condemned the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya

Both U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and U.S. President Barack Obama have strongly condemned the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya that left Ambassador Chris Stevens and three embassy staff dead.
