Khem Veasna's Name is on The List to Vote For The Senate

Opposition Sam Rainsy party (SRP) legislator from Prey Veng province, Khem Veasna had his name taken off the party list in August 2005 because he criticized the King contrary to the party internal order and the constitutional law.

Until now, the National Assembly has not taken his name off the list.

At a hearing at the National Election Committee's (NEC) headquarter, its president Mr. Im Suosdei rejects SRP's appeal and decides to let Mr. Khem have the right to have his name on the list to vote for the Senate.
