Prime Minister Hun Sen Tuesday announces his campaign to crackdown on gang members, the Big Brothers, the Little Brothers, and the poweful government officials' sons.
These people create anarchy, and insecurity in the country. They would meet in front of the Buddhist temples, in the streets, in public gardens.
Mr. Hun Sen was angry with the provincial, and town governors, the provincial and local chiefs of police who are unable to control these gangsters.
He cited an incidence when the gang members used Samurai swords on police officers.
Mr. Hun Sen's nephew was imprisoned at the Prey Sar prison because he fired warning shots at the people who looked on when he was involved in a car accident. He was released shortly.
