History of Anlong Veng - A Lesson for Other Communities
Anlong Veng was the last stronghold of the Khmer Rouge. It was home to the top Khmer Rouge leaders such as Pol Pol, Nuon Chea and Ta Mok. But do you know much about its history? Thanks to the Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam) people can now read all about it in a book titled “A History of the Anlong Veng Community: The Final Stronghold of the Khmer Rouge Movement”. The book is available in both Khmer and English. Recently, the book’s co-author, Chris Dearing talked to VOA Khmer's Reasey Poch about the new book at the VOA Offices in Washington D.C.
