A SRP parliamentary member writes a letter to King Sihanouk Tuesday asking His Majesty to honor the slain union leader Chea Vichea as a Khmer hero.
Mr. Keo Remy said Mr. Chea Vichea's contributions to post-war Cambodia and to its economy. Mr. Remy added it's important to recognize Mr. Chea Vichea so that all Cambodians will know that they will not die in vain for Cambodia's cause.
There's no response from the King yet concerning this request.
