A member of Parliament from the Sam Raingsy Party expressed his concern about the impact of the politcal deadlock on the national economy.
Mr. Yim Sovann told VOA Tuesday teachers have not been paid for many months, while customs officers are reaping full benefits from illegal traders. Business owners with connection to the military or high-ranking government officials refused to pay taxes for their business.
