China Sees Threat in US Pivot to Asia
At the informal summit meeting between President Obama and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in California, both sides are trying to avoid the conflicts that can afflict relations between rising and established powers. As VOA's Natalie Liu reports, China's main concern is that the new focus of US foreign policy toward the Asia-Pacific region -- the so-called "pivot" -- is aimed at containing China's rise.
