Thousands of people are rallying in Washington Saturday to protest police killings of unarmed black men and to call for law enforcement reforms. Relatives of Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice and Trayvon Martin -- who demonstrators say are all victims of racial injustice -- are taking part in what organizers call the Justice for All march. The event, held near the U.S. Capitol building, is part of a planned series of protests around the United States on Saturday, organized by the group Ferguson Action. Protests have been held nationwide since last month, when a grand jury decided not to charge the white police officer who shot and killed the 18-year-old Brown in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Missouri, in August. Demonstrations flared again when a New York grand jury declined to indict officers in the killing of Garner, whose July death from a police chokehold was ruled a homicide by the city medical examiner. (Reasey Poch, Washington)
