U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for Southeast Asia and ASEAN Affairs Joseph Yun visited the Cambodian Embassy on Wednesday to offer condolences on the death of Cambodia’s King-Father Norodom Sihanouk. Yun said Sihanouk remained influential in Cambodian affairs for more than six decades. Cambodian Ambassador Hem Heng appealed for Cambodians to continue to follow Sihanouk’s example of national reconciliation. Diplomats from other countries visited the embassy to honor Sihanouk.
