This year has been a good year for Cambodian stories. For film, there was the nostalgic documentary “Golden Slumbers,” and the action-thriller “Two Shadows.” There have also been books and short documentaries. At the heart of these stories and others remains the ghost of the Khmer Rouge, but filmmakers and fans say these stories are increasingly coming from Cambodians themselves, and they are finding a broader audience.
