National Assembly President Criticizes U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh - 2005-02-05

Cambodian national assembly Norodom Ranariddh criticizes the United States embassy in Phnom Penh for helping wanted lawmaker, Sam Rainsy to leave the country.

Speaking to reporters in Phnom Penh at the national assembly on Friday, prince Ranariddh says his party can not accept the fact that an accused is made to look like a hero while the victim is made to look like a killer.

The national assembly president said he will write a letter to the US embassy in Phnom Penh inquiring about the fact that the embassy reportedly used the embassy's vehicle to transport Mr. Sam Rainsy to the airport.
