The Association of Democratic Khmer Journalists writes a letter to King Sihanouk asking him to help free a jailed journalist.
The association said a Siemreap judge wrongly put Mr. Teng Mara, a local journalist, in jail just because he helped people turn in their complaints against a high-ranking police officer.
The judge told VOA he put the journalist in jail on charge that he forged a document.
