Through our Hello VOA program, Dr. Taing Tek Hong of Jacksonville, Florida told VOA Khmer listeners there are three stages of syphilis, and the treatment is very simple and will cure the disease.
Dr. Hong also stressed the importance of screening pregnant women for syphilis.
