A parlimentary member of the Sam Rainsy Party says he is writing a letter to the Constitution Council asking it clarify threee questions.
The three questions Mr. Son Chhay is asking the Constitutional Council are: 1) How long can the current caretaker government continue to function? 2) Could there be a caretaker parliament? 3) Is it possible to have a joint congress between the house and the senate to solve important issues while the political deadlock continues?
Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen has said in the past the current government will stay in office until 2008 if a new government can not be formed.
