Cambodian Opposition Party President Sam Rainsy said five people including himself are on prime minister Hun Sen's hit list.
Speaking to reporters at the Sam Rainsy party headquarters in Phnom Penh Tuesday, Mr. Sam Rainsy said the five names include FUNCINPEC General Secretary Prince Norodom Sirivuddh, the Sam Rainsy party General Secretary Eng Chhay Eang, Mr. Sam Rainsy himself, Executive Director of the Cambodian Center for Democracy Mr. Kem Sokha and the president of the teachers' association Mr. Rong Chhun.
Mr. Sam Rainsy said he wants the world to know that if any of the five persons is murdered in the future, Mr. Hun Sen is the person held responsible.
CPP's spokesman Khieu Kanariddh denied Mr. Sam Rainsy's claim and told the alliance of democrats to "grow up." Mr. Kanariddh also said prime minister Hun Sen agrees to provide each of the five persons with a tank as a means of transportation.
