KKA Cannot Bring Buddhist Books to Southern Vietnam - 2004-01-08


A member of Parliament from the Sam Rainsy said the Vietnamese embassy in Phnom Penh has denied permission to the Khmer Krom Association (KKA) to bring Buddhist Teaching Books into the southern part of Vietnam known as Kampuchea Krom.

However, in a letter to the Cambodian Foreign Ministry, Vietnam said Kampuchea Krom people can come up from Vietnam to pick up the Buddhist Books at the Cambodian-Vietnamese border.
