Opposition supporters removed Sam Rainsy Party’s signs due to their disgruntlement of the newly appointed communal chief.
The supporters claim that the chief failed to adhere to SRP’s fair and honest party's principles. The issues are alleged to occur in Au Chreu, in Banteay Mean Chey province.
Provincial SRP’s security chief Khan Try says that his constituency is despondent to the appointment of Khat Sothea as a communal chief and replaces former candidate Hay Namheng.
Opposition party leader Sam Rainsy failed to comment on the issues.
