Prince Ranariddh reportedly postpones his return to Cambodia from France. The prince was out of the country since March after prime minister Hun Sen blasted him and removed scores of FUNCINPEC officials from key positions in the coalition government forcing the prince to resign from his position as the president of the National Assembly.

The Sam Rainsy party calls for the investigations into the recent attack on its members in Srok Kamcheay Mear, Prey Veng province. In that attack, a group of unidentified men wounded 2 members of the Sam Rainsy Party. Sam Rainsy blame that the attack is politically motivated and said his party faces risky attacks while the election is approching. Police said the motive of the attack is personal rather than political but says it is still investigating the case.

The family members of former Phnom Penh Municipal Police Chief Heng Pov is reportedly confining themselves in the house in Takhmau district is reportedly. Heng Pov fled the country earlier this month right before an arrest warrant for him was issued. He is charged with corruption, drug dealing and assasinations. His whereabout is unknown at the present time. His wife is said to be afraid to leave the house and even afraid to watch TV and to read newspaper.
