Mr. Kem Sokha Pledges to Continue His Work

The Cambodian Center for Human Rights's (CCHR) president Kem Sokha sticks to his principles, and pledges to continue his activities for freedom and democracy in Cambodia, saying no one can buy his ideals.

This statement is made after local newspapers commented that the four activists wrote letters of apologies to Prime Minister Hun Sen for their past actions.

In a letter expressing his thanks to local people and the Cambodian people living abroad, Mr. Kem Sokha seems to want to clarify the misunderstanding that he apologized to Prime Minister Hun Sen, and that he only expressed his thanks to the prime minister for the activists' release.
