Taxi Drivers Say No to Anti-Sam Rainsy Protest

The Cambodian association of taxi drivers and many teachers in Phnom Penh announced that they will not join the anti-Sam Rainsy protest.

In an open letter Thursday, the president of association of taxi drivers denied the rumor that says his association will participate in the protest.

Recently a group of professors and teachers has received permission from the ministry of the interior to hold peaceful protest against opposition party leader Sam Rainsy when he returns to Cambodia from self-exile next month.
