Cambodian National Assembly President Norodom Ranariddh said Tuesday former King Norodom Sihanouk guarantees his initiatives to solve the border issues will not harm relations with Cambodia's neighbors.
Prince Ranariddh told reporters three days after his meeting with the former King in Beijing that his majesty assured that only peaceful means will be used in border talks with Cambodia's neighbors.
Ranariddh said his father, the former King has asked him to reassure Cambodia's three neighbors that he will not do anything to cause instability in the region.
Ranariddh said his father is determined to solve the border issues with Cambodia's neighbors.
