Disable groups expressed their concerns after Phnom Penh governor Pa Socheatvong wanted them to stop singing at street corners to survive. However the governor told city officials to find out what they need so that the city authority would help them, said Phnom Penh municipality spokesman Long Dimanche. The spokesman said Phnom Penh authority was seeking alternative means for them to make their living instead of singing to raised fund at street corners. The governor said their bands disturb the public view and reflect the negative image. VOA Khmer’s Pin Sisovann, Phnom Penh.
